I am so excited to finally post about this outfit. In Hindi, this outfit is termed: Lengha, and is worn by women on special occasions. One of the things I love about my culture is the number of endless festive outfits that are available; in so many vibrant colors, designs and details. The craftsmanship that goes in these outfits is totally to awe over!

This outfit is special to me because I wore it to my brother's wedding ceremony and I am especially attached to it because I designed it. At first, I wasn't too sure if I was 100% comfortable with the fabric I had chosen for the top since it is very different than the skirt, but I was so proud of the whole outfit when it was completed. 

I didn't get a chance to take many pictures of the outfit on the day of the wedding because I was extremely busy, but I knew I wanted to do a post on it regardless.
