Fruit Cream

Delicious and oh. so. simple. to make! Wanted to share this recipe I learnt from my Mom - you can literally make it under 30 minutes. Please keep in mind that this dessert is very rich in cream (though I am not saying that this is a bad thing 😆) Full recipe below!!

Ingredients
Whipping cream (I used 1 small carton, 473 mL)
Fresh fruit, chopped (Strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, applies work best)
Icing sugar, to taste (If you don't have icing sugar and have granulated sugar, just place the granulated sugar in a processor and viola, you'll have icing sugar). Icing sugar also consists of cornstarch but I do not add this in.
Chopped nuts (pistachios and almonds work best, I ended up using walnuts for this batch)

1. Start by whipping the cream. Whip for about 7 minutes or until the cream is a nice fluffy consistency (Careful to not the cream turn into butter)
2. Add icing sugar (to your personal taste preference) to whipped cream
3. Pick the bowl in which you want to present your dessert and begin by lining the bottom with a layer of fruit, add a layer of whipped cream followed by another layer of fruit, continue until you reach the top of the dessert bowl. Instead of layering, you can also mix your fruit directly in the whipped cream.
4. Top with chopped nuts
5. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes...and you're all done

I kid you not, fruit cream is DELICIOUS!!!!
